About Us
J&W – Trans was established in 1992 by the Jiterský family and has been operating in the Karlovy Vary region since its inception. Over more than three decades, the company has developed into a stable, professionally oriented transport provider, specializing in the carriage of liquid chemicals using its own fleet of tankers. Long-term continuity and a clearly defined focus have enabled the company to build a high level of technical expertise, operational reliability, and safety standards.
Family ownership is reflected both in the management structure and in the day-to-day operations of the company. The second generation is actively involved in key areas such as dispatch, quality management, and operational oversight, while other family members participate directly in the execution of transport services.
Currently, the company employs eight professional drivers and operates eight tanker units, whose technical condition and renewal are systematically managed to maintain a high standard of reliability.
The fleet includes seven single-compartment tankers with capacities ranging from 30,000 to 34,000 liters, and one multi-compartment tanker with four separate chambers of 9,000, 7,500, 7,500, and 10,000 liters, respectively. All tankers are constructed from AISI 316 Ti stainless steel, meet the L4BH specification, and are designed for the safe transport of chemicals, including substances classified under ADR regulations.
The tractor units are predominantly sourced from Scania. The average age of the fleet is approximately two years, and all vehicles comply with Euro 6 emission standards, with the newest units already classified within more favorable CO₂ emission categories.
Quality, safety, and responsible business practices form the core pillars of corporate governance. The company holds ISO 9001 certification for its quality management system, and these standards are implemented as an integral part of corporate processes, contributing to long-term, stable relationships with both clients and business partners.
